Inventory Management
When hair clips arrive, they must be carefully inspected. The quantity must be counted precisely; even one missing is unacceptable. Quality control is also crucial; defective hair clips cannot be accepted into inventory. For example, if a batch of colored hair clips has colors that differ significantly from the samples, they must be rejected.
Inventory must be registered promptly. The date of arrival, style, and quantity must all be clearly recorded. This is like creating a small file for each hair clip, making it easy to find them later.
Storage Management
Different types of hair clips must be stored separately. Metal ones should be stored together, and plastic ones together, otherwise they can easily scratch each other.
They should be arranged systematically, sorted by style and color. This makes them easy to find at a glance. It's like finding books in a library; clear classification makes searching effortless.
The warehouse environment also needs attention; temperature and humidity must be appropriate. Too much humidity can cause hair clips to rust; too much dryness can make plastic hair clips brittle.
Inventory Counting
Regular inventory counting is essential. A major inventory count should be conducted once a month or once a quarter. Compare the actual inventory with the registered records to check for any shortages or damaged items.
